I really Hate the printer we have now, the printing part  is just fine, it's the scanner that's killing me. It is practically blind to color. ... Of course I'll bet most printer/scanners are. I wish we could afford a better one. *sigh*

I wish you all could see these pictures how they actually look. They are much prettier and more vibrant and of course not so pixalated or what-have-you.

Anyway, I bet all of you are thinking, what else is new, you dis-like another scanner and you like how your pictures turned out in real life, that sounds like very other traditional artist out there. I really don't have an answer for that.

But I can say that is any company came out with a inexpensive scanner or printer/scanner combo that had a decent scanner they would make a killing because every person who does traditional art would rush out and buy one, or at least they would save the money and buy it asap. I know that latter would be me.









Is anyone out there interested in doing a contest where you pick one of my stories and draw a scene or a story inspired art? (I might have an extra special prize.)

This is a really fun game, particularly if someone is helping you.  


Rules:
You have to find and link 5+ songs that describe you in your journal. This is harder than you might think. Then 'tag' a few (I'll let you decide how many) people. That's it, it allows others a little peek into your personality.  To be clear the songs you chose need to describe who you are, not just be songs you like (So they can be used even if you don't like the singer/group or genre.). I have some good and some bad news;
Bad News: my scanner is officially broken. No pictures will be up until it is replaced or fixed.
Better News: I'm really sick, it might be pneumonia, which means I'll be sitting around more, but that doesn't mean I'll be for sure working on this list. (I can't stop coughing and I'm not getting much sleep.)
Even Better News: I'm going to try to get my class done ASAP. It's a distance study collage English course. (I can only afford one class right now. Hopefully I can get a job when I get better.)

I really need to get busy on these, most of them are older things that still need done. This is my well meaning list of things to do in order of things I need to get done... not that they will get done in order. Somewhere in this list I've also got other stuff to do. This list does not include the things that I have no control over, reading lists, contests that I haven't decided whether or not to enter, babysitting, studying, ect.

(Note: The stars are for me more than for you. It's just a reminder of approximately how far I am with any given thing. So I can just look through and quickly find the ones that aren't started and work on them when the mood to draw hits me or the ones to color. )

1. Put up the next Chapter of When Ice and Lava Meet.

2. Write more of When Ice and Lava Meet.


3. Work on the linearts (won two couples pictures or one with up to five people.) and the colored picture(s) (one with two or two with one.) Asked for One Kouga and Kagome lineart and one colored picture of Sesshoumaru alone. (Sesshoumaru is drawn. Needs colored.)(Thanks for being understanding and only asking for the two pictures, I'll be sure to make sure you get your full prize in time.) 6. Work on Colored Picture that won in the Zutara Laughs Contest. Asked for a Zutara Foods themed picture. (Needs colored.)

7. Won 2 Linearts with couples or one with up to five. Asked for Sesshoumaru and Kagome Ice skating and a sess/kag couples fight . opal-dreams.deviantart.com/art…

8. Won a colored two person picture (any style) or a lineart two-three scene mini cartoon (of chibis.) He/she gave the prize to his/her sister. She asked for Azula and Long Feng completely drunk after the domination of Ba Sing Se. I'll see what I can do.
